About Us

Claremont Ten is ten streets in the Claremont Ward of Blackpool which has funding from the People’s Health Trust as part of a wider national Local Conservation Projects.

There are now 25 Local Conversation projects taking place in England, Scotland and Wales. Local Conversation is community led and is all about local control in decision making, and actions to improve quality of life, health and well- being in a community.

Local people are at the heart of the projects and are actively involved in decision making at every level including projects, design, delivery, meetings, monitoring and evaluation.

Our Priorities were decided by Local People by consultation through surveys and local engagement days.

Our steering group are all Claremont residents and our priorities are reviewed regularly to ensure we meeting the needs of our local residents at all times.
